Mon, 23 Apr 2012Jaguar F-Type gets the new 3.0 litre V6 S/C Jaguar reveals two new petrol engines at Beijing, a 3.0 litre V6 Supercharged and a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder turbo. When Jaguar revealed the F-Type at Frankfurt last year (well, the C-X16 concept) it was powered by a new V6 Supercharged engine – basically a cut-down version of Jaguar’s V8. And now that engine is officially part of Jaguar’s engine line-up.

Set to go on sale in the UK and Europe (but not the US) after the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Audi A5 Sportback is said to offer the practicality of an estate with the elegance of a Coupe. Wed, 05 Nov 2008By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 05 November 2008 10:08 Caterham has turned to cyberspace to design its next model – the low-volume carmaker is calling on fans around the world to log onto a bespoke website to submit their ideas and designs for every aspect of the new Caterham, before ultimately voting on what makes it to the final vehicle. The website – www.splitwheel.com - will act as a forum, hosting blogs, articles and what Caterham calls ‘a Wikipedia-style user-edited knowledge base’ to turn user input into a workable vehicle design. A comprehensive voting system that covers all aspects of the car will then be initiated, and once the final specification is agreed a prototype will be produced with initial production slated for 2011.
