MSD Pro-Billet Distributor 8354 for Ford 351W Windsor motor.  Ordered last fall and project was delayed.  Block was no good and moved to big block.  This unit was never installed, only taken out of box for these photos but too long to return to speedway motors.

MSD’s Ready-to-Run Ford Distributors are the perfect upgrade for bulky DuraSpark systems or ancient breaker point models. These distributors come complete and ready-to-run. All you need to do is drop it in the engine, connect three wires and fire the engine.

  • Advance plate and weights are fine blanked from Chromoly steel and QPQ coated for friction reduction
  • Mechanical advance assembly can be locked out for crank trigger systems
  • Advance weight pins are staked and tig welded to the plate
  • Nylon pads ensure smooth operation of the advance weights

DRIVERS need to make sure their car is being properly serviced by a qualified mechanic, says the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). To help drives do this, it has launched a government-backed scheme called the Professional Register. While there are around 175,000 people in the UK who call themselves automotive technicians, the IMI says it can only recommend around 27,000 as having the required skills and competence to carry out work to the required standard in their specialism.
