If you were at the debut of the 2013 Range Rover and new Jaguar F-Type in Paris last month you may well have seen Jaguar Land Rover’s new Virtual Showroom on display, and it looks like JLR have big plans for their new high-tech way of exploring new cars. JLR’s Virtual Experience allows customers to interact with an almost life-size digital wall image of their chosen car, not just looking but interacting too.

Tue, 06 May 2014By Damion Smy Motor Industry 06 May 2014 15:51 Alfa Romeo has confirmed the news first broken exclusively by CAR in July 2013: the Italian brand will make a dramatic shift from front-drive hatches like the Mito and Giulietta, and instead develop a new range of rear- and all-wheel sports saloons, SUVs and sports cars. Announced in Detroit at Fiat-Chrysler HQ, Alfa Romeo chief technology officer Harald Wester revealed the mantra for the brand includes pushing volumes up from 74,000 sales in 2013, to around 400,000 by 2018. New Mercedes-Benz SLK to offer Web link
Wed, 03 Nov 2010The new Mercedes-Benz SLK, due out next spring, will be the automaker's first vehicle with on-board Internet access via its Command infotainment platform, AutoWeek sister publication Automobilwoche has learned from company sources. The updated Mercedes C class also is expected to offer Web-browsing capability when it arrives shortly after the SLK debuts. "We will then offer our own online services as well," a top executive told Automobilwoche.
