Volvo, Geely working on shared architecture

Geely and its Volvo ward are working at developing a new compact car architecture that will be shared by both companies. For Volvo, this means a smaller luxury car, possibly a few. The platform will be modular, as is practically required in this day and age, ready to underpin different body styles or—if need be—an entirely new lineup.

McLaren MP4-12C Revealed

McLaren has released details of their new supercar - the McLaren MP4-12C Known for so long by its code name – P11 – this MP4-12C is the first real McLaren since the legendary F1. RM Meadow Brook auction tallies $5.4 million

A 1935 Auburn 851SC Boattail Speedster led the way at an auction held in conjunction with the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, selling for $462,000 as the event raked in a total of $5.4 million. The Auburn was intricately restored and just the ninth version built. It was originally a show car at the Chicago auto salon.
