Features Racers and nostalgic ford enthusiasts using the famous ford FE engine now have access to a distributor that is truly equal to the performance level of their engine. A magnetic pick-up triggers your MSD ignition control accurately at any rpm. Above this pick-up the mechanical advance assembly is positioned so it can be adjusted without disassembling the distributor. In addition, the specially ground advance cam is Tig-welded to the 9/16 inch Hardened shaft and the weight pins are staked and Tig-welded to the advance plate. Additional Information

Mercedes-Benz to use Maybach name for range-topping S-class
Wed, 15 Jan 2014Mercedes-Benz will be bringing back the Maybach name for the extra-long-wheelbase S-class, which is expected to go on sale by the end of this year. This version of the S-class will be a third bodystyle (out of an eventual total of four), and will be positioned above the V12-powered S600 and its AMG siblings. The Maybach-branded Mercedes-Benz personal limousine will essentially be a replacement for the Maybach 62, and will feature an entirely reworked rear section with new rectangular rear doors and a new rear passenger compartment with first-class seating.
CDN and GM launch new interactive competition for students in North America
Wed, 06 Jun 2012Car Design News is pleased to announce the launch of this year's Car Design News-GM interactive design competition, a collaboration with GM and our partners, Alcantara, CGT, Pace and SRG Global. GM is offering five students a paid internship (with housing included) at its studios in Warren, Michigan. One winner will be picked from each brand (Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC) and one additional overall winner will also be chosen by the judges.
