We have a used MSD #8980 Spark Timing Control. You will need to buy the chips for this. These MSD fixed curve timing computers have a pre-programmed timing curve that eliminates the need for a mechanical advance. When you start the car, the timing computers retard the timing 20 degrees from the set mechanical timing. This provides easy starting and smooth idle. The timing begins to advance when the engine speed reaches 1,000 rpm and continues until 3,000 rpm, when the total timing is reached. They also have a separate high-speed retard circuit that allows you to activate a retard amount via a switch, to retard the timing during times of nitrous or high rpm. These units install easily, and can be used on 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines with an MSD ignition control. This is a very expensive item but we will sell the item cheap here on ebay. Keep in mind all our items are available here at our shop and may be sold off ebay too. All our items sold AS-IS No returns. As with all our items, it may have dings, dents, cracks, scratches and other flaws we may have missed. Look at the pictures and you decide. JE Designs unveiled its freshly tuned 440-hp Volkswagen Touareg hybrid on Friday. The German tuning company boosted the Touareg’s output from 380 hp to 440 hp by optimizing the management of the 3.0-liter engine. The hybrid’s electric motor remains untouched.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible, the drop top version of the GT Speed, has been officially revealed ahead of a Detroit Auto Show debut. Just as expected, Bentley has transplanted all the goodies from the latest version of the GT Speed in to the GTC Speed, which means a fulsome 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque from the delicious 6.0 litre W12 and, despite gaining more than 200kg to keep the huge Bentley stiff without its roof, the GT Speed Convertible manages to hustle to 62mph in 4.1 seconds – just a tenth slower than the tin-top Speed. That extra lard does have more impact as you head towards 100mph with the convertible taking 0.7 seconds more, but there’s not exactly a paucity of power on offer.

Chrysler has ordered 93 first-generation Dodge Vipers to be crushed, including what is believed to be the fourth Viper ever made. A Chrysler representative sent a letter to South Puget Sound Community College, which currently owns the Viper with VIN# 4, informing them that they must crush the car within two weeks. Automakers regularly donate unsellable non-street legal vehicles to automotive-engineering programs at colleges and universities, reserving the right to order the vehicles destroyed for insurance purposes.
