Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe photos arrive early
Fri, 19 Apr 2013We didn’t expect the CrossBlue Coupe to look quite as dramatically ‘squashed’ as the design sketches, and it doesn’t. But it does look like a decidedly rakish SUV with a distinctly more coupe look than the full-sized CrossBlue SUV we saw at Detroit in January. Apart from being sleeker than its boxy sibling, the CrossBlue Coupe is also less compendious, and drops the full 7-seats the Crossblue had in favour of a 5-set layout.
AC 378 GT Zagato supercar at 2012 Geneva motor show
Tue, 06 Mar 2012British sports car specialist AC is back and teaming up with fabled Italian coachbuilder Zagato to create the new AC 378 GT Zagato, the first all-new AC for some time. The company has had an on-off relationship for much of the past decade, with production switched abroad, management changes and a confusing product line-up. But new management has been installed and are hoping to make a fist of AC Cars, one of the world's oldest car brands.
Lexus LFA and IS-F on track at Bruntingthorpe
Sat, 21 May 2011Lexus LFA and IS-F joust on track at Buntingthorpe Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that the first Lexus LFA in the UK had put in an appearance at Goodwood to delight the Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club. The visit to Goodwood made it clear that Lexus were treating the LFA as a serious performance car, and not just a rich man’s toy (although it is a rich man’s toy), so we wondered where Lexus UK would go next with their very own LFA. Would they trot it up to Lexus Park Lane and put it on show for the temptation of the passing wealthy, or would they plough on with putting the LFA in front of real (if wealthy) petrolheads?
