Red 6AL-2 Ignition Boxes MSD Ignition 6421 MSD 6AL-2, with 2-Step Limiter, 4, 6, 8-cyl. MSD is excited to announce the next generation of 6-Series ignition controls--the 6AL-2! These all-new ignition controls combine a new housing, new digital controls, and more power in a sleek package. You still receive the 20 degree duration of multiple sparks, combined with higher output to ensure complete combustion. There is a 2-Step rev control built into the housing, but there are no rpm modules! Adjustments are made via four rotary dials for 100 rpm increment control! The all-new capacitive discharge ignition will easily connect to nearly any 12 V negative ground distributor system, even Hall-effect pickups. BMW M5 comes alive with all-wheel drive

It will be the first time the car houses a turbocharged powerplant, the first time a dual-clutch gearbox is used and, most importantly, the first time the M5 gets all-wheel drive. That's the word from BMW brass in Shanghai, where Albert Biermann, head of BMW M's research and development, confirmed the powertrain, Autocar reports.

The architecture broadly follows that of the Insignia, with (at least in top-spec models) a high-set sat-nav system, sitting above the audio and air-con controls and flanked by the central air vents. The air vents themselves are more angular than the items you'll find in the Insignia, and the dash itself also appears more upright.
