The improved spark energy and voltage of the coil packs, combined with their reliability, have made them a favorite of performance enthusiasts. They are designed as direct bolt-in replacement coils for many SOHC Ford V8 modular engines. The housing and installation are the same as the factory coils, but that is where the similarity ends. Inside the MSD coil packs, engineers used better quality materials to assemble the primary and secondary windings. The MSD Ford Blaster Coil-on-Plug ignition coil packs take the spark energy right out of the coil and put it across the plug gap to improve the combustion and output of the engine. A14 toll residents 'should be exempt'
Mon, 07 Oct 2013RESIDENTS living near the UK's first proposed toll road in a decade should be exempt from payments, councillors have said. Drivers could be charged between £1 and £1.50 to travel along a new stretch of the A14 in Cambridgeshire, according to a consultation document published by the Highways Agency last month. The proposal comes after Chancellor George Osborne announced in the Autumn Statement that the Government would explore whether "in very limited circumstances" tolling could be used to fund significant new capacity on the country's roads.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June with the Moving Motor Show taking place on the Thursday before – 26th June – to complete perhaps the best ‘car’ weekend on the planet. Lord March hasn’t revealed the theme for the 2014 Festival of Speed – although it will be revealed shortly – but you can be sure the Festival will be as action-packed as ever with the best of cars, ancient and modern, thrills and excitement as Goodwood resounds to the sound of the internal combustion engine.
