MSD Ignition 8975 Programmable Digital Multi-Retard Controls Multi-Retard, Digital Controlled These MSD Digital Multi-Retard timing controls provide four different stages of retard, along with an adjustable start retard feature--with no modules! These units use a high-speed RISC micro-controller to direct the timing functions. This controller can make extremely quick compensations to the timing, while maintaining accuracy to within 1 degree. These circuits are thoroughly de-bounced and isolated for protection against Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI). There is also an innovative magnetic pickup compensation circuit built-in to allow for rock-steady timing with a variety of different mag pickups. There are four separate retard stages that can be activated independently or together for a total sum of retards. Each stage is adjustable from 0-9 degrees, and a maximum of 20 degrees of retard can be pulled out. On top of these great features, there is also an optional start retard circuit that can be programmed to retard the timing 5, 10, 15, or 20 degrees during cranking. Digital multi-retard timing controls can be used on 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines, and must be used with an MSD ignition control. Tue, 06 Nov 2012Maserati has revealed the first pictures and details of the 2013 Quattroporte ahead of its official debut at the Detroit auto show in January. The sixth-generation Quattroporte, a high-performance sports luxury saloon, will be the first of three new models that Maserati hopes will begin to increase its annual sales. The car retains some of the design cues from the outgoing model, namely the front grille, three side vents and the triangular C-pillar, while it also features a sharp beltline that rises towards the car's rear and runs through the side of the car.
UK pays £30 million a month in parking fines
Sun, 29 Sep 2013British motorists are paying out a massive £30 million in parking fines every month, according to Freedom Of Information data obtained by LV= car insurance. So far in 2013, councils have handed out over 890,000 tickets a month – an increase of 4% on 2012 figures. The huge £30 million total is based on the UK average parking fine of £42.
F1: Mercedes sticks with McLaren – Brawn still likely

As the F1 season drew to a close at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi yesterday, the whole of the top end of Mercedes Benz management was on hand. They had expected to see Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes McLaren waltz to a win, but had to settle for simply powering the world champion – Jenson Button – to victory this year and claiming third and fourth place at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
