Transit Times

So far, we’ve had every sort of Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 story you could imagine in the run-up to a new car launch, from speculation over the name to disguised cars running around Europe, and all the way on to last week’s ‘Official’ spy video of the LP700-4. Now, with just a week to go before the Geneva Motor Show – and print media wanting to get their copies on to newsstands as the LP700-4 launches, the chances of a leak or three increase hugely. We’ve benefited once or twice from anonymous photos of new cars in our Inbox, but today its the turn of WCF who’ve had a scan drop in of Evo’s Croatian edition showing a top view of the new Lamborghini from a reader.

The new McLaren F1 – McLaren P12 Project – will be revealed to private clients at Pebble Beach next month and gets 1,000bhp. McLaren’s successor to the iconic McLaren F1 is nearly upon us, and according to a McLaren owner we’ve spoken to it looks set to be revealed privately at Pebble Beach next month prior to a public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. According to our source, McLaren already has at least two complete cars to show and has shown the new F1 – which may be the McLaren 799 – to a number of wealthy McLaren clients already.

Nissan has released the first images of its new B-segment concept car, the Invitation. Set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor show next month, the car previews a new model that will sit between the Micra and Juke as the company returns to the traditional hatchback market. The Invitation's DRG features a wide grille with a chrome accent that extends into the lamps, reminiscent of the Quest MPV.
