Longtails have been the low cost alternative to thousands of boaters in the Far East for years. They are used by commercial fisherman and hunters and are well known for travel in shallow and muddy waters. More recently, American duck hunters have discovered that they are ideal for powering LAYOUT & SNEAK BOATS into shallow areas, and they leave a low overall profile. The Chinese have developed huge commercial tourist attractions as these simple motors have been strapped to the ancient style bamboo river rafts, fitted with seating so that folks can enjoy the sights of the many rivers as they wind through the countryside. These rafts have now evolved and plastic sewer pipes are used to make the rafts, making a cheap and reliable mode of transport.

Don't be fooled by high prices and crazy shipping costs. Our kits have been sold in Thailand for over 50 years!

The McCar, developed by Nova design in Shanghai, retains the established brand identity through the concept's DRG, with a black background featuring four chrome strips, which flows into the integrated LED headlamps. Strong, powerful feature lines flow across the concept's sides into the tail to combine with the slender tail lamps.

Aston Martin make Nissan’s Andy Palmer their new CEO

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

Andy Palmer (pictured) is taking the reins at Aston Martin Lagonda Aston Martin has effectively been without a boss since Ulrich Bez stepped down from the role last year, but that changes with the announcement that Andrew Palmer – until now, Chief Planning Officer of Nissan – is to step in to the role. There’s no specific start date for Andy Palmer at Aston, but Nissan has announced that Philippe Klein will take up Palmer’s role at Nissan on 15 September, so it shouldn’t be long before Palmer holds the reins at Aston Martin. But what exactly has persuaded Andy Palmer to jump from a big corporate behemoth like Nissan to a struggling luxury car maker with owners who either want to tug the operating strings (the Kuwaitis) or are looking for a quick return (Investindustrial)?
