Lacklustre Pothole Performance Highlighted By Survey
Thu, 10 Apr 2014THE GOVERNMENT has got a long way to go to convince drivers that they have the pothole problem in control. That’s the view of 67 percent of motorists polled by road safety charity, the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). According to the IAM’s survey, those respondents believe the government is doing a bad or a very bad job of maintaining the nation’s roads.

Wed, 19 Jun 2013The Spyker B6 Venator (pictured) will be at Salon Prive this year Victor Muller rolled out his new plans for Spyker ahead of the Geneva Motor Show this year with the arrival of the very convincing Spyker B6 Venator and typically grandiose plans to build and sell so many Spyker would be back on top. But Victor’s plans didn’t stop there, and by April it was clear that Spyker were also planning on building a Venator Spyder too as Victor’s plans to take on the £100k plus sports car market grew. So with plans to make Spyker a force to be reckoned with, Spyker are off to this year’s garden party with cars – Salon Prive – in September with not just the B6 Venator but also the C8 Aileron.
Detroit Electric delays SP:01 again
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Detroit Electric, the new startup with an old name, said it is delaying production because it hasn't secured a lease or purchase agreement for its manufacturing facility in Plymouth, Mich. It is also talking to some new partners, though the company declined to name them. North American president Don Graunstadt told the Detroit News, “To further elaborate at this juncture is, unfortunately, not possible as Detroit Electric have entered into negotiations with other parties that have the potential to impact our business strategy and timing,” Graunstadt said.
