Sun, 06 Jul 2014The Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake will arrive in 2015 Mercedes are determined that their new A-Class family of cars will offer something for everyone, and the latest demonstration of that is the official confirmation of the new Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake for 2015. Taking its design cues from the CLS Shooting Brake, the new CLA Shooting Brake will offer a swoopy coupe estate with the emphasis on style rather than load-lugging. Underpinning the new CLA Shooting Brake will be the same platform that underpins the other A-Class models – A-Class, CLA Coupe, GLA SUV and B-Class – and offer the same range of engine and transmission options.

This car, however, is not that car. This one was built in California, by legendary car builder (and father of Chip) Sam Foose back in 1972.
