Range Rover Sport HSE 'Red' & HSE 'Luxury' go on sale in the summer To complete its run-out models for the current range, Land Rover has revealed the Range Rover Sport HSE ‘Red’ and ‘Luxury’ Editions at the New York Motor Show. Now you can add the Range Rover Sport HSE ‘Red’ and ‘Luxury’ Editions to the list of Land Rover ‘end of range’ special editions to go along with the Range Rover Westminster and Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE Luxury Special Edition, which has been revealed this morning at the New York Auto Show. The Range Rover Sport HSE Red comes in a choice of Firenze Red, Orkney Grey, Fuji White and Santorini Black with a black mesh grill with a Nobel bezel and black surround with bonnet badge and tailgate finisher in silver and a red ‘Sport’ badge at the back.

The Mercedes SLS AMG - the UK Promo Video below   Now that things are finally starting to Rock ‘n’ Roll for the new Mercedes SLS AMG – Mercedes actually started building it in January – we’re getting some UK-specific stuff, which makes a change from Auto Bild telling the world the SLS AMG is the best looking car in existence. Mind you, it’s not bad looking. The video we have here – which is the first UK SLS AMG push we’ve seen – is nicely lit and edited (even if there is some CGI in there) and it certainly does the SLS no harm on the looks front.

Porsche 918 Spyder hits the Nurburgring (video)

The Porsche 918 Spyder – Porsche’s hybrid replacement for the Carrera GT – has been caught on video at the Nurburgring. Incredibly, it’s more that two years since Porsche took the wraps of the 918 Spyder at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, yet we’re still more than a year away from actually seeing production cars. But Porsche are putting their time to good use. Porsche has made a few cosmetic tweaks already from the original 918 Concept, but they’ve also let it be known that the 918 Spyder will get a 550bhp 4.6 litre V8 to go with its electric motors on the front wheels  (one less motor than originally envisaged – there was going to be one one the back axle too), which will make the 918 Spyder a FWD Porsche when in EV mode.
