1965 - 1973 Cougar Mustang T-5 Conversion Billet Adapter Plate - This plate is made for 6 bolt pattern Original Ford bellhousing. The 6 bolt pattern is to the engine (V8 289 302 Boss 302 351W 351C) - The early 65 289 and 260 engines have 5 bolts on the back of the engine block.

Adapter Plate Kit includes: One adapter plate and attaching hardware to mount it to the bellhousing.

This adapter plate will work with 1983 to 1986 T-5, 1987 to 1993 World Class Borg Warner T-5 Transmissions and Ford Motorsports M-7003-Z (T-5z) transmissions. 1994 to 1995 transmissions need to modified to use this adapter plate. The input shaft on these transmissions are too long. You will have to change the front input shaft to the early T5 input shaft along with the bearing retainer. Email us your tag number and we can tell you which T-5 transmission you have for the conversion.

Ford overhauls plans for the U.S. C-Max to go with fewer seats, all hybrids

Ford has shifted gears on its plans for the C-Max wagon in the United States and will now sell only the five-seat version with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, beginning in 2012. Ford has canceled plans to sell the seven-seat version of the C-Max with a conventional gasoline engine in the States. Ford will call the car the C-Max hybrid, and C-Max Energi will be the name of the plug-in version.
