Toyota Aygo Crazy set for Goodwood debut

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 July 2008 10:41 Toyota will bring its 'shopping supercar' – the Aygo Crazy – to the 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which kicks off next week. It's a one-off, attention-grabbing supermini with a mid-engined layout like the Renault Clio V6.  The racing Aygo uses a 200bhp turbocharged version of Toyota's 1.8 VVT-i engine from the Celica and MR2 – making it somewhat more powerful than the regular Aygo's 68bhp. Detroit's Vinsetta Garage will serve food, with Autoweek seasoning

The Vinsetta Garage, a haven for car collectors and enthusiasts on the Detroit area's legendary Woodward Avenue, is making a shift from servicing cars to serving dinner. The Vinsetta Garage, which closed nearly a year ago, will reopen next spring as a restaurant. The project is fueled by Autoweek publisher KC Crain and former Autoweek staffer-turned-award-winning restaurateur Curt Catallo.

Infiniti-designed Santa's sleigh (2010)

Today's sleighs are courtesy of Infiniti. The design team in Japan have sketched out a couple of Infiniti sledges for Father Christmas to deliver his presents across the globe in imperious style. The first sleigh looks like an Essence supercar concept meets an FX crossover - from that long snout and high-mounted, wedgy headlamps to the complex, textured surfaces, sliced and diced by a laser-pointer's worth of sloping lines flying off at all sorts of angles.
