Renault Clio Gordini RS, Megane GT at Geneva motor show

Renault’s Renaultsport tuning brand is out in force at the 2010 Geneva motor show. While the Megane CC and Wind were unveiled for more mainstream customers, Renault today revealed the new Renaultsport Clio Gordini 200 and a range of GT and GT Line models by tweaked by its in-house tuner. Who's Where: Bryan Nesbitt and Ken Parkinson switch roles within GM Design

General Motors has announced a change within its Global Design organization that will effectively see Bryan Nesbitt and Ken Parkinson switch roles from August 1 this year. Bryan Nesbitt, who has been executive director North American Exterior Design and Global Architecture Strategy, has been appointed vice president of GMIO Design. The appointment will see Nesbitt relocate to Shanghai, China, and serve as the lead voice for Design in the GMIO region.

Kia Motors appoints Peter Schreyer as President

Kia Motors has appointed the man who changed their design – former VW man Perter Schreyer – as President. When Peter Schreyer left VW in 2006 after a sparkling career that saw him establish the Audi design philosophy – still a hallmark of Audi design – to head up design at stodgy Kia, many in the industry thought it an odd move. But Peter Schreyer seemed keen to prove his worth after VW had passed him over to head up their new design studio, and Kia offered the prospect of turning a budget brand in to a mainstream force with cutting edge designs and, it would seem, a pretty free hand to do what it would take.
