Ultimate luxury: 2014 long wheelbase Range Rover revealed

If you ever thought the Range Rover was a touch cramped in the back, you’re in luck. Land Rover has unveiled the first long wheelbase Range Rover for 20 years, adding even more comfort and space to the already lavish off-roader. Alongside this, it’s also confirmed a new "exclusive specification" for the line-up – the Range Rover Autobiography Black.

The new BMW M6 Gran Coupe - officially revealed this week – will cost from £97,490 when it goes on sale in May 2013. The M6 Gran Coupe gets the same, very convincing, looks of the regular Gran Coupes, but with added visual butchness thanks to a front spoiler, flared wheelarches, side skirts, rear diffuser and a carbon fibre roof. That promised aggression is reinforced by the M6 Gran Coupe’s powerplant that comes from the M6 and M5 with a 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 delivering 553bhp and 50lb/ft of torque – available from 1,500 to 5,750rpm – which is enough to get the M6 Gran Coupe to 62mph in 4.2 seconds.

2014 Porsche Panamera gets new hybrid

The Porsche Panamera has been restyled and the lineup gains a plug-in hybrid model, along with a new twin-turbo V6 for the Panamera S and 4S models that is more powerful than the former base V8. Also, Porsche is adding a stretched version of the Panamera with 5.9 inches added to the wheelbase for additional rear-seat legroom. The restyled Panamera goes on sale in the United States late this year as a 2014 model.
