Parts of O'Quinn car collection to be sold at RM auctions in March
Tue, 02 Feb 2010Batches of cars from the extensive collection of Texas attorney John O’Quinn--one of the most impressive collections of classic sheetmetal since William Harrah’s--will cross the auction block this spring at a pair of RM Auction events. O’Quinn, a noted attorney who died in a car crash last October, assembled a collection of at least 800 cars, and it could number as many as 1,300. Fifty-five cars from the collection will be sold at the RM auction on March 13 at Amelia Island, Fla.

For the launch, Hyundai invited us to Waddesdon Manor, the home of the Rothschild banking family and a venue that has been used for previous Louis Vuitton events. It has recently added a new art gallery with fabulous views across rolling countryside, and contains work by Anish Kapoor, Michael Craig-Martin and bronzes by Angus Fairhurst.
BMW F30 3-series (2011) first official video footage
Tue, 29 Mar 2011BMW has released a series of videos on Youtube about BMW prototype testing. The prototype in question happens to be the new 2012 3-series. We'll first see the new 3-series, codenamed F30, at the Frankfurt motor show in autumn 2011.
