Hi.  Cleaning out the hangar.  This came from a bulk buy from an FBO retirement auction.  History unknown.  Sold as is and priced accordingly.  This includes only the part shown.
I have a lot of these buck auctions going.  For my US bidders, if you buy more than one item, I'll combine shipping and only charge you for the most expensive item (just request a combined invoice after you win).  For international bidders, sorry ebay is such a pain.  Just complete the transactions, and I'll make a refund if it is possible to do so (I can't promise, but I'll try for you)

Porsche 918 Spyder races toward production

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

OK, let's put the usual arguments to rest first: The Porsche 918 Spyder is going to be even faster than the Carrera GT in a straight line. That's based on Porsche's own computer simulations in anticipation of the production version of the gasoline-electric-powered 918 Spyder, which is due to roll off a dedicated line within a decommissioned paint shop at Porsche's Zuffenhausen, Germany, headquarters next year. The claimed 0-to-62-mph time is 2.8 seconds; 0-to-124 mph is 8.9 seconds, and top speed should be about 202 mph, thanks in part to series of active aerodynamic functions, including a multistage rear wing.

The Associated Press, citing The Herald Republican of Angola, Ind., said that Kruse, 69, was released Aug. 31 from the DeKalb County Jail in Auburn, Ind., after posting a $5,000 bond.

Two Italian car events vie for your amore on Monterey weekend

Tue, 10 Mar 2009

Last week we heard that Concorso Italiano, everyone's favorite Italian car happening, had been bought and was on its way to a new location on a golf course on the Monterey Peninsula. Now it turns out there are two Italian car events scheduled for the same day--Aug. 14--on the same peninsula.
