Rare Ferrari sells for staggering £10 million

A RARE FERRARI representing a key early stage in the history of the sports car manufacturer has sold at auction for £10.7 million. The sale of the 375-Plus at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, was a world auction record for a Ferrari sports racing car. A spokesman for auction house Bonhams also said it was the third highest price paid for any car sold at auction.

Another take on the Range Rover Evoque by Kahn Design – the RS 250 Dark Tungsten – is heading for Chris Evans’ Carfest South. Kahn Design revealed their take on the Range Rover Evoque – the RS250 Vesuvius Copper – last month, but they’ve decided another take on the same theme is needed to showcase at Chris Evans’ petrolhead extravaganza – Carfest South. So this time we get an Evoque with a more appealing  Dark Tungsten Metallic paint job with ‘KAHN’ lettering on the bonnet, new bumpers with mesh inserts, lower boot spoiler, chin spoiler, matt black highlights, gloss black boot trim, p[rivacy glass, big upper rear wing, diffuser and a nice set of 22" RS600 alloys.

REX Driverless cars are starting to look less and less like science fiction and much more like a realistic vision of our near future – and now the first UK trial of the technology is set to start in Milton Keynes in 2015. But don’t go expecting a Ford Fiesta with a brain. Instead the Milton Keynes experiment will feature compact pods that you can hail via a smartphone app, zipping along pavements at up to 12mph.
