Thu, 20 Aug 2009Tesla has released new images of the Tesla Roadster Sport as the order book opens But despite the hype on the Tesla Model S earlier in the year, the next model to arrive will be the Tesla Roadster Sport – a beefed up version of the current Roadster. And Tesla are ramping up the awareness by releasing the new pictures you see here. The Roadster Sport gets 15% more peak power that the standard Roadster, which should propel the little Roadster to 60 mph in around 3.7 seconds, which is no mean feat, despite the Roadster’s dinky dimensions.

Apart from proving engineers do have a sense of humour with the name, this all carbonfibre creation can travel over 370 miles on a sunny day and actually contribute energy back to the grid, making this the world’s first ever ‘energy-positive’ car. Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M – Goodwood Hillclimb Video
Mon, 06 Jul 2009The Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M completed the Goodwood Hillclimb in just 59 seconds One of the major attractions is the Goodwood Hillclimb, where cars tackle a 1.16 mile uphill course through the Parklands of Goodwood House. Cars race along an avenue of trees, past the front of Goodwood House and up a steep estate road – lined with flint walls and woodland – to arrive at the finish on Goodwood’s Equine Racecourse, overlooking the South Downs. Practice takes place throughout the weekend, with up to 200 cars competing.
