THERE IS A SLIT ON THE ONE SIDE AND THEY JUST SIMPLY SETS DOWN OVER THE HUB/ROTOR/SPINDLE/BRAKE ASSEMBLY OR REAR ROTOR HUB ASSEMBLY AND PREVENTS YOU FROM GETTING BURNT BY THE HOT COMPONENTS.
