YOU PLACE THIS THICK INSULATED COVER OVER THE HUB AND ROTOR WHEN THEY ARE HOT TO WORK ON OTHER PARTS OF THE CAR. PERFECT FOR WHEN THE ROTORS, BRAKES AND HUBS ARE HOT AFTER RACING ON THE TRACK AND YOU NEED TO DO OTHER REPAIRS WITH THE WHEEL OFF. THERE IS A SLIT ON THE ONE SIDE AND THEY JUST SIMPLY SETS DOWN OVER THE HUB/ROTOR/SPINDLE/BRAKE ASSEMBLY OR REAR ROTOR HUB ASSEMBLY AND PREVENTS YOU FROM GETTING BURNT BY THE HOT COMPONENTS. THERE IS MINIMAL SNAGS OR VERY SMALL TEARS IN THE 3 LAYER MATERIAL, BUT NOTHING THAT EFFECTS ITS USE OR PURPOSE. THE FABRIC IS NATURALLY DIRTY FROM STUFF LIKE BRAKE DUST AND SO ON. The Mercedes GLA 45 AMG Concept has been revealed in LA
Over the weekend we had a teaser video from AMG for the GLA 45 AMG Concept, although Mercedes didn’t actually name it as such. But a GLA with the same powertrain as the A 45 and CLA 45 AMG is exactly what Mercedes’ AMG concept tease was, and it’s now been revealed in LA ahead of a likely debut in production form in 2014. The GLA 45 AMG Concept gets bold graphics – something buyers would be unlikely to want – and 21″ forged alloys painted matt black with a red rim and red brake callipers to shout its intent.

Following this past weekend's spy shots of the new urban concept caught on a film set in Berlin, Audi has released a set of sketches of the all-new 1+1-seat vehicle set for its global unveiling in Frankfurt. Claimed to combine the ‘elements of a racing car, a fun car and an urban car' the concept exploits new lightweight manufacturing processes. Its cockpit is made from carbonfiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and it features free-standing, low-rolling resistance 21-inch wheels with protective plates.
