Wed, 02 May 2012Opel has taken on the winner of last year's Car Design News – Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition, Victor Uribe, to work as the latest addition to its creative design team. Uribe, a Transportation Design graduate from Istituto Europeo Di Design in Turin, Italy, emerged as the winner in the exterior design category for his submission, ‘Lounge in Motion', and won himself a six-month internship at the Opel/Vauxhall's European Design Studio in Rüsselsheim, Germany. The museum - which first opened its doors in 1985 - has been the subject of a £5 million modernisation project. But finally - some ten years after the original plans were drawn up - the new and much improved Haynes International Museum is now open to the public.

Wed, 12 Feb 2014Ferrari revealed the California T on Wednesday, its next-generation front-engine convertible, prior to March's Geneva motor show debut. The company teased the vehicle last week. Details are scarce right now, but Ferrari says the T again has a retractable hardtop (it lowers in 14 seconds), boasts a new turbocharged V8 making 552 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque—Ferrari hasn't had a turbocharged production car since the legendary F40.
