'Four out of five' drivers support speed cameras
Mon, 25 Nov 2013FOUR OUT OF FIVE drivers in the UK are in favour of speed cameras and think they are useful in reducing injuries on our roads. Research by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) shows 80% of British drivers supports speed cameras, though there is still scepticism about the positioning of some caemras. Half (52%) of those polled by the IAM said they did not believe speed cameras are only positioned at the sites where accidents have occurred.

Jaguar are proclaiming the XK Signature and Dynamic R specification as special editions, but at substantial discounts to the current models – and with increased specification – it looks like these two new models are going to be the Jaguar XK range for 2014 (plus the Jaguar XKR-S). The Jaguar XK Dynamic R gets the same 503bhp 5.0 litre supercharged engine as the XKR but gets both the Black Dynamic Pack and Speed Pack as standard as well as a sports exhaust, Performance Seats with diamond stitching and 20” Vortex diamond turned wheels.
Toyota makes service plans standard
Thu, 07 Oct 2010Toyota Motor Corp., aiming to restore customer trust after a recall crisis, is launching two new U.S. service plans that will come standard with Toyota and Scion brand vehicles. Called Toyota Care and Scion Service Boost, the plans will offer free factory scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first, the company said Wednesday.
