Bentley teases Arnage successor
Wed, 10 Jun 2009Bentley is giving a glimpse of its future this morning with a teaser shot of the Arnage successor due out in 2011. Look for a public debut this summer, possibly in concept form at the Pebble Beach concours, where the British luxury maker is one of the featured companies as it marks its 90th anniversary. Details are scarce, though the teaser shows a lengthy hood, a prominent grille and big fenders--hallmarks of the Bentley line.
Council parking ‘spy car’ gets speeding ticket
Tue, 04 Feb 2014A council-owned ‘spy car’ designed to catch people parking their vehicles unlawfully has been snapped travelling over the speed limit. Dorset police officers recorded the parking enforcement camera car travelling at 36mph in a 30mph area, handing the driver a £100 on-the-spot fine and three penalty points on their licence, according to the Bournemouth Echo. Billed as the new compact Mercedes, it was a successful model that lasted a full ten years until being replaced by the first C-Class (W202). This model – the first with the triangular tail lamps – lasted until 2000 when it was replaced by the W203, a more softly-styled update of the W202 model, with the 'peanut-shaped' linked double headlamps.
