Up for sale is a new NCY aftermarket polished aluminum kick start lever/arm. It will fit most 139QMB chinese 4stroke 49cc/50cc scooters and the Honda Ruckus (49cc/50cc). This is a cheap way to add some flash to your scooter. NCY makes really nice products.... we've used their products at our shop for five years and have never had issues with the quality of the products. We are currently liquidating our scooter parts and accessories at the shop and have many items being added to ebay so check out our other items for sale. We are offering free shipping to the lower 48 states. Please note that we have two of these for sale but they are being sold individually. General Motors combines smartphone functions with the Chevrolet Volt
Wed, 06 Jan 2010General Motors is bringing together two of the hottest areas of technology--smartphones and plug-in electric cars. GM's OnStar telematics unit has developed a downloadable application that will let Chevrolet Volt drivers use a Blackberry Storm, Apple iPhone or Motorola Droid to remotely control and monitor some vehicle functions, such as charging. The Volt is slated to go into production late this year and arrive in California utility company fleets by early 2011.
Petersen museum executive director to retire

Sat, 12 Mar 2011Janet Gutherie, the first woman to race in the Indianapolis 500, said overcoming the numerous hurdles set before her as she tried to forge a racing career was something that she just had to do. “I wanted it so much,” Gutherie said during a seminar at the 16th Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance on Friday, “I was willing to put up with whatever they would throw at me.” AutoWeek's own Denise McCluggage, a renowned racer in her own right, was also part of the Women in Racing panel discussion that also included racers Judy Stropus, Erin Crocker, Jessica Brunelli and Lynn St. James.
