Thu, 27 Mar 2014A RARE LAMBORGHINI once owned by Rod Stewart is being sold - for nearly £1 million. The singer bought the two-door Lamborghini Miura P400S brand new in 1971, when it did 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 171mph - the fastest road car of its kind in the world at the time. The pristine four-litre blue sports car with silver trim has recently undergone a £100,000 restoration and is being sold on AutoTrader for £899,999.
NEVS completes Saab purchase
Tue, 04 Sep 2012National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS) has completed the purchase of the assets of Saab, but can’t use the Griffin logo. We reported last week that the process of acquiring Saab had been delayed as there were still issues over the rights to the Saab log, a logo owned by Scania and Saab Aerospace.
Call to pass on petrol price cuts
Fri, 20 Sep 2013THE AA has joined calls for retailers to pass on a fall in the wholesale price of petrol to motorists. Pump prices have "barely budged" from the late summer high of just over 138p a litre despite a 2p-a-litre fall in the wholesale price of petrol a fortnight ago and a further 3p drop last week, according to the latest AA Fuel Price Report. Petrol averaged 132p at the start of the year, "and this is where it should be heading if the wholesale price collapse persists", the report said.
