You are bidding on a 'Bobble Strut' or Hop/Roll damper. This item replaces the hydraulic damper on the late '95-99 manual transmission Neon.
This strut keeps the engine from rolling; it prevents wheel hop by stabilizing the powertrain and helps for smoother shifts. It can also 'jack' the engine to provide ground clearance for headers, and prevents powertrain movement which will break headers.

The strut is constructed with a zinc plated steel rod; a precision rod end; and a 1mm larger than factory mounting bolt.
You may adjust the amount of powertrain preload and bushing crush, giving you absolute control of firmness.

Early '95 ('93-'94 build) used a slightly different upper bracket, you might need to do some minor fabrication.
Otherwise, bushings fit the upper mount perfectly, they repair and replace the always broken factory isolator.

Priority, US shipping is quick and free. Int'l bidders please contact me.

Thank you for looking, good luck bidding!

Chancellor to ‘freeze fuel duty’ until 2015?

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

The chancellor of the exchequer, George Osborne, has announced that fuel duty will be frozen until 2015 – if the savings can be found to pay for it. The announcement came during a speech at the Conservative party conference, in which George Osborne said: “Provided we can find the savings to pay for it, I want to freeze fuel duty for the rest of this parliament.” The 2p-a-litre rise planned by the Labour government for September 2014 would be cancelled, continuing a freeze that has lasted two-and-a-half years already. But this is conditional on the treasury finding the funds to cover it.

Higher gas prices? Blame ethanol

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

MarketWatch reported today that the price of ethanol has seen a 30-percent price increase so far this year, taking the price of gasoline up with it, since a good majority of "gasoline" sold today is around 10 percent ethanol. The average price of a gallon of gas today is $2.30, according to FactSet data, but this has varied since the beginning of 2014. Despite the recent surge, ethanol prices have also proved to be rather volatile with reports of it dropping 8 percent this past Thursday after falling 10 percent just the day before.
