This reproduction 1933-34 Ford front crossmember maintains the height of a stock Ford crossmember. It directly replaces a cracked original, or use it to start your reproduction frame off right. Made of heavy, 7-gauge steel with clearance for 1-3/4" cross spring. Welds to frame boxing plates of original or repro chassis. Includes tabs for radiator mounting.

Width on centerline is 23.5" edge to edge.

Based on the regular Aero chassis, the Life Car is part DTI-funded and involves partnerships with Oxford University and a company that developed fuel-cell technology for military applications – such as providing medical teams with power during conflicts. The Life Car is predicted to weigh 600kg, have a small fuel cell delivering 33bhp and, erm, no brakes.

Audi prices SQ5 SUV at $51,900

The 2014 Audi SQ5 high-performance SUV will cost $51,900 when it hits showrooms later this summer. The first S variant of the Q-line makes power with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 delivering 354 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. Audi first revealed the SQ5 at the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans race, and then again in production form at the Detroit auto show.
