Rare barn finds on sale: Jaguar E-Type and XK120 head to auction

The motoring world remains full of surprises – here we have a pair of classic Jaguars that had apparently been all but forgotten until they were pulled out of their respective hiding places earlier this year. The blue car is an early E-Type, the silver car an early steel-bodied XK120, both are heading to auction with Coys in the Ascot Sale on 26 October 2013. CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition - Exterior Phase Launched

We're pleased to announce the launch of the second phase of the CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition, which challenges design students in North America to create an exterior design in response to briefs from each of GM's four brands – Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC. This second, exterior design phase of the competition – which can be found at www.cardesigncontest.com – follows on from the previous interiors design phase and again challenges students to design against briefs set by each of GM's four brands. Remember, you don't have to have entered or registered for the interiors phase in order to take part in this exterior phase of the competition.

Future products: Scion's lineup to grow

Scion was supposed to be Toyota's niche brand of fuel-efficient small cars for hip kids. But the original three-model product lineup is being expanded, so the brand's customer reach may be extended as well. Early next year, Scion will add a rebadged version of the Japan-market Toyota iQ minicar.
