Porsche stunned the world when it unveiled the 918 Spyder as a massive surprise at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The new Honda NSX Concept will take on the Goodwood hillclimb in June The arrival of the production version of the new Honda NSX Supercar is schedlued for 2015, and Honda are making sure the new NSX will arrive with high expectations. They’ve already announced the new NSX will go racing before it even goes in to production and they’ve had a new NSX out on track to try and show its ‘Green’ credentials are a positive not a negative. Now, Honda has announced that we’ll all be able to get up close and personal with the new NSX as it will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June and will take on the Goodwood hillclimb.

Hyundai i30 SR – a taste of Sporty Hyundai

Hyundai in Australia has revealed the Hyundai i30 SR, an i30 with a 2.0 litre petrol engine and a sportier edge. Hyundai in the UK defaults to its diesel engine offerings across almost its entire range, with the Golf challenging i30 offering only a 1.4 litre petrol with a very modest 98bhp apart from the diesel offerings. But Hyundai in Australia marches to its own beat and has rather bigger ambitions for the brand than Hyundai exhibit in most of the rest of the world, with thoughts about a Hyundai ‘Genesis’ luxury brand (although that seems to have come to nought so far) and their very own ‘Sporty’ take for the Hyundai range in the ‘SR’ model.
