This unit is new from Dynotech Engineering, still in the box, never installed.. I sold my car and have no need for it now.. It has been upgraded with the 3M Severe Duty output shaft, 3.90 gears, all components de-burred, and also comes with the high performance strut kit.. The strut kit is black, not red like the one pictured.. That is a generic photo of the same product.. The combined total of this unit with upgrades is approx. $2400..There is no guarantee or warranty expressed with this unit..I have described it to the best of my ability.. Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda recall 3.4 million cars over Airbag fault
Thu, 11 Apr 2013As recalls go, 3.4 million cars around the globe is a big number, but it’s that big because a parts supplier - Takata Corp – supplied the same airbag part to Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda, so the recall involves all four Japanese car makers. The part at fault could cause the airbag inflator to rupture and deploy the airbag abnormally, although there have been no reports of injuries due to the potentially faulty part and just five reports of the fault existing – three in the US and two in Japan. In the UK the number of cars affected – and do note the recall only affects cars sold between 2000 and 2004 – appears to be about 75,000 for Toyota, 60,000 for Nissan, 15,000 for Honda and 2.000 for Mazda, and all four car makers will be getting in touch with owners during the next month to book their cars in for free replacement of the part.
No Ferrari Viper, Dodge brand chief says
Wed, 25 Nov 2009Despite allusions to cooperation on the Viper with Chrysler's new Italian owners, there will be no Viper Ferrari. Hey, it was a natural question, especially since Dodge opened that door in a press release on Tuesday about a lap record set by a production Viper ACR at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (1:33.915; more on that in a minute). "When we have partners across the ocean who are known as the best sports-car makers in the world, the future opportunities are huge," Dodge brand chief Ralph Gilles said in a release.
Michelin Challenge Design 2014 winners revealed
Mon, 13 Jan 2014The winners of the Michelin Challenge Design 2014 have just been revealed at a private event in Detroit's Renaissance Center following the first press day of the NAIAS. Chris Luchowiec of Poland was awarded first place for his ‘BOT' design, a completely autonomous transportation solution for relatively low populated areas. His concept is designed to address the issue of lone car commuters, traffic congestion and the generally poor experience of mass transit use.
