This listing is for a BRAND NEW combination 3rd brake light / backup camera that will fit the 2004-2013 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 1500/2500/3500 vans. This replaces the factory 3rd brakelight above the rear doors, while adding a 170 degree backup camera and giving it that "OEM" look. Camera is a super CMOS type, with infrared LED's for great night vision, IP67 waterproof, NTSC video format (this is the standard used in the U.S.), 480 lines of resolution, and comes with a 30 foot wiring harness. 3 year / 36k mile warranty. Camera will be shipped via INSURED USPS Priority Mail in approximately 5 to 7 business days. We’ve seen ongoing spats between Google, Apple, Samsung and HTC, and now we hear that LG Electronics is seeking a ban on imports of Audi and BMW cars to Korea over an LED patent dispute with Siemans Osram. LG Electronics has already demanded a ban on imports of LED products from Siemans Osram, and is now stepping up the pressure by demanding that Audi and BMW cars featuring Osram LED lights be banned.
GM returning to leasing with luxury vehicles
Thu, 30 Jul 2009General Motors will return to the leasing business focusing on luxury vehicles, but not on a broader basis, Vice Chairman Bob Lutz said. "We will get back into leasing, but we are not going to use massive subsidized leasing to drive volume because it's volume without profitability," Lutz said July 29 in an interview with Automotive News. "We'd rather sell less at higher profit than sell more at lower profit." Lutz said it still would make sense for GM to do more leasing on its luxury vehicles.
