New! 2009-2013 Silverado / Sierra Video Cable For Backup Camera Rearview Mirror on 2040-parts.com
Three Oaks, Michigan, US
This listing is for a new 9' video cable to add to your existing 16 pin plug on your 2009-2013 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra when replacing your original mirror with a 16 pin GM backup camera rearview mirror (GM part numbers 25794380, 2794381, 20945096, 20945097, 25995336, 25995367, 22915243 or 22915244). This cable has the appropriate terminals on the connector end of the wiring that will fit into the 16 pin GM mirror plugs (SEE PICTURE #2 - YOUR MIRROR PLUG NEEDS TO LOOK LIKE THIS ONE IN ORDER TO USE THE VIDEO CABLE), and the other end has a standard RCA female socket, allowing you to connect your backup camera's video cable to your mirror. Included with the mirror you will also receive some wire ties as well as instructions on how to add the wires to your existing mirror plug & info on how to remove various trim panels in order to run the cable down to the bottom of the dash. Remember - this listing is for the video cable only & does not include the 16 pin mirror plug or any other wiring. If you need a full harness & installation kit, they are available separately - see my other listings. ***NOTE: YOUR EXISTING MIRROR PLUG MUST CURRENTLY HAVE 9 WIRES IN IT IN ORDER TO USE THIS VIDEO CABLE.*** Note regarding the Chevy & GMC pickups...your trucks might be partially pre-wired for the backup camera option...if you have 11 wires in your mirror plug, you are pre-wired. If so, see my other items, as I have a listing for the special plug-and-play connector especially for pre-wired 2009-2013 Chevy Silverado LT/LTZ and GMC Sierra SLE/SLT pickups. Note that base model trucks, Silverado LS and Sierra SL trucks will not be pre-wired for the camera option. For base/LS/SL trucks that only have 5 wires in the mirror plug, you will also need to add two additional wires to the mirror plug in order to install a backup camera rearview mirror - one is an ignition hot wire and the other is a reverse hot wire. Both of these connections should be able to be made at the electrical center under the dash. I can provide these two wires for an additional $6. If you have any questions, please be sure to email me before you buy this item. I can't stress enough how important it is to ask questions before you buy something instead of after. I want to be sure that you know what you're getting, so I am always more than happy to answer your questions. Also - by buying this mirror, it is assumed that you have decent technical knowledge & the ability to install this in your vehicle. If you do not, please have this professionally installed - just about any mechanic, car dealer or stereo shop can put these in for you. It's not worth risking damaging your vehicle. Thank you!!
Please Note: Orders submitted & paid for prior to 5pm Eastern time generally will be shipped the following business day.
