The goal with the V4 was to create a helmet that will outperform all premium dirt helmets on the market, with features that will go head to head with the best helmets on the market. You will recognize the Distinct Fox silhouette, venting channels, chin bar and mouthpiece on the V4 while the new cheek pad design wraps below the jaw line to create a secure fit. The comfort liner provides a balanced, custom feel and sizing is continued from the V3.
4 Shell and EPS Liner Sizes – 4 shell and EPS sizes gave Fox the ability to get a precise for fit for every head size. The shell and EPS breaks are XS/SM, MD, LG, XL/XXL. The liner and cheek pad thickness is the same for SM-XL. Liners are specific to EPS sizes and cheek pads are interchangeable throughout all sizes. All of the size changes happen with the EPS and Shell grading.
Advanced Materials – Carbon Fiber shell construction and dual density EPS liner (Dense outer with less dense inner layer).
Luxury Interior – The V4 utilizes a moisture wicking Dry-Lex liner. Dry-Lex pulls sweat and moisture away from the riders head while providing a comfortable feel against the skin.
Heat is the Enemy – With 16 intake and 8 exhaust ports, the V4 is unmatched when it comes to airflow. Helping the rider perform at the highest level was the goal with airflow on the V4. New on the V4 are 4 large eye port vents that promote airflow into the goggles. This is something our pro riders felt immediately. Even at low speeds you can feel the air flowing over your face. The signature Fox dual venting channels have been enhanced on the V4 to flow more air. The channeled EPS liner works in unison with the large channels built into the shell. Everything is working together. The result is the coolest helmet on the market.
Designed and Engineered in California – Every detail on the V4 was designed and engineered by Fox's team in the Irvine office. From the integrated mouthpiece to the aluminum visor screw, every detail was thought out and perfected by Fox.
2012 Rider Line Up – Ryan Dungey, Chad Reed, Ken Roczen, Josh Hansen, Ivan Tedesco, Josh Hill, Kyle Partridge
Warranty – Fox stands behind the V4 with a 5 year warranty. The warranty covers any manufacture defect from 5 years of purchase date or 7 years from the manufacture date.
The V4 will come with a custom helmet bag.
