You are bidding on a Brand New Bert 2nd Generation Muncie Length Transmission (Bert Part #1400).

The standard Bert transmission is 2 5/8" shorter than the Muncie, Brinn, Falcon, etc.  This Bert "Muncie Length" transmission takes that difference out.  It is the same length as the Muncie, which eliminates the need to change driveshaft lengths.

The New Bert Second Generation transmission has given the edge to late model and modified racers, with 50% less rotating weight, the Second Gen is the lightest, low-drag unit available. The reliability and performance of the new shifting-clutch system has increased the speed of getting in and out of pits.  For use in circle track race cars, including modifieds (IMCA, UMP, USMTS, etc.), late models, street stocks (depending on track rules), & many others

  • 50% Less Rotating Weight
  • Lightest, low-drag unit available
  • The Bert Shifter (#1310) isn't included with the transmission, but we have it available here in our Ebay store

We also have thousands of other High Performance Parts in our store.
