Support pole are also used when/if you want some sun and dont want your Bimini top laying in the boat getting in your way, you simply rest the BIMINI top against the support poles and the Bimini Top is not laying inside your boat and in your way. When trailering your boat just rest the BIMINI Top against the support poles and cover with YOUR FREE MATCHING BOOT, no need to tie down the Bimini Top or have it laying lose inside the boat. Peter Schreyer to receive 2014 EyesOnDesign Lifetime Design Achievement Award
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Peter Schreyer has been chosen by a panel of his fellow designers to receive the 2014 EyesOnDesign Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Schreyer, Kia and Hyundai's chief design officer and one of three presidents, directs the design strategy for the both Kia and Hyundai. He's the first non-Korean to hold the position of president and is one of the highest-ranking designers in the industry's history.

Thu, 29 Aug 2013John Entwistle’s Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Shooting Brake (pictured) up for sale Rolls Royce has never made an estate car – or Shooting Brake, as posh estates (and modern wannabes) tend to be badged – but that hasn’t stopped well-heeled owners from Maharajahs to rock stars turning Rolls Royces in to hunting and shooting transport for almost a hundred years. Taking the finest creations of Rolls and turning them in to a bespoke shooting brake is not a cheap hobby, but if you fancy a bit of gentrified rock ‘n’ roll history, Bonham’s have got The Ox’s (that’s John Entwistle, the Who bassist, for the younger readers) customised Silver Shadow Shooting Brake up for grabs. The Ox had the Rolls turned in to a Shooting Brake by an unknown coachbuilders back in the 1980s to carry his Irish Wolfhounds, and when he died as a result of a bit to much nose candy his Rolls Royce Shooting Brake was bought by the current owner from Entwistle’s wife.

This is the first picture of the Fisker Surf, issued after CAR broke the news of the shooting brake earlier in the week. Customers of the Karma have been disappointed by the boot space – pinched by the bulky batteries and range-extender hardware – so Henrik Fisker's team has designed a new shooting brake to offer an expanded luggage hold while retaining the grace of the four-door coupe.
