In the midst of a takeover by Koenigsegg, the new 9-5 needs to excite at least a section of the car buying public to give Saab the chance to rebuild. And it looks promising.

It shares its platform with the Cadillac SRX. Very little appears to have changed in the intervening period, with Saab design director, Jason Castriota's appointment coming after the car was signed off under GM's tenure.

The poster, whom we assume can read Japanese, says the next GT-R will have a hybrid powertrain like the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LeFerrari. He also says it will carry a new version of the company's twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 making 580 hp.
