Brand New TCI Honda Drag Race Torque Converter 
for a 1992-1995 Civic equipped with a 
1.6 VTEC or 1.5 non-VTEC engines and KA-4AT or KL-4AT 4-speed automatic transmissions. TCI Part #641000.

The new Honda 9 ½" torque converter is a direct replacement for the above mentioned applications & with a stall speed of 2800-3500, the converter retains the stock lock-up clutch, and shows no adverse effects concerning heat, slippage or gas mileage. In testing, the TCI torque converter picked up time over a ½ second in the ¼ mile and increased MPH. Land Rover builds 1,000,000th Discovery

The 1,000,000th Land Rover Discovery has rolled off the line at the company's Solihull plant in West Midlands in the United Kingdom. To celebrate the milestone, Land Rover is sending the SUV on an 8,000-mile, 13-country “Journey of Discovery” from Birmingham to Beijing for the motor show on April 23. The company did the same thing in 1955 when the first Series 1 rolled off the line.

At approximately 6:55 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, May 30, around the world, the engines of several thousand Shelby Mustangs, Cobras, GT40s and even a few Series 1s cranked to life and roared their terrible roars in tribute to their fallen maker, Carroll Shelby. “I've got friends in South Africa who are firing theirs up right now,” said a Shelby Mustang owner, standing amidst a sea of the barking beasts parked on the roof of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
