Euro Header

The engineers at Supersprint realize that for maximum performance, exhaust development must begin at the exhaust ports of the cylinder head. This is why Supersprint has the largest variety of racing header systems in the world today. Each header incorporates CNC laser cut port matched flanges. Primary tubes are mandrel bent using the latest CNC tube bending equipment. With special tooling Supersprint has been able to keep weld joints to a minimum for added reliability. The fully appointed R&D department uses the latest in proto typing equipment along with the reliability and accuracy of a MAHA "all wheel drive" chassis dyno. With over 50 years in performance exhaust development they have earned the confidence of many of Europe's most respected tuners. Most units are 100% stainless steel

Resonator
All Supersprint resonators are of the flow through resonated design. This means each unit has no chambers or baffles to reduce velocity. Simply, a straight through in & out design! The internal components are 100% stainless steel with a high heat resistant rock wool sound suppressing material, not found in any other systems. This is the reason we can offer you sound legal performance exhaust systems. Tubing is always mandrel bent for maximum flow. Flanges and hangers are O.E. or better quality for a perfect fit every time. Housings are all manufactured from 1.5mm material that is M.I.G. welded at all seams. The stainless systems are 100% 304 stainless, the mild steel systems are aluminized on the inside and out, then black heat coated for corrosion prevention.
Note: Must use with Header 022 784 301 on S52 engines.

BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation), which recently acquired a small stake in Saab and where there are high hopes of some good Saab sales in China, wants to buy up the old 9-5 tooling. And move it lock, stock and barrel to Beijing.

McLaren MSO reveals MSO 650S Coupe Concept

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

The McLaren 650S MSOP Concept (pictured) showcases McLaren’s custom options It’s only a few months since we had a McLaren MSO 12C Concept from McLaren Special Operations (MSO) – Maclaren’s division that titivates cars for a significant wad of cash – to showcase just what MSO can do for the 12C. But with McLaren deciding that the 12C is biting the dust in the face of the new 650S, it’s time to update that concept to one that’s current, hence the arrival of the McLaren MSO 650S Concept. The changes to the 650S by MSO are designed to illustrate what McLaren can do to make your 650S as individual as you are, and the updates included on the concept can be applied to both the Coupe and Spider versions of the 650S and even the 12C.
