Milestone in life matched by car change

MOST DRIVERS in the UK mark key milestone moments in their life with a change of car. Four out of five British drivers say they will change their car to give their first-born child a more comfortable drive home, while others say they would swap cars if they won the Lottery. A survey by the AA found that 26% of drivers will change to a new car if they start a new job, while 21% decide on a different car because of retirement.

Infiniti future products: Making room for three additions to the lineup

Nissan Motor Co.'s Infiniti luxury brand will develop three all-new vehicles over the next three to four years: a compact sedan, a family-sized crossover and an electric luxury car based on the Nissan Leaf. The plan is part of Infiniti's goal to increase sales and market share in the United States and globally. In June, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn set a goal of more than tripling Infiniti's annual global sales to 500,000 units by 2016.

They are shown off in a display featuring “Technologies for Today, Tomorrow and The Future”, together with Mazda’s new Mazda SKY Drive high-efficiency automatic transmissions. These new technologies are expected to bring Mazda’s corporate average fuel economy down by 30% in the next five years.
