New VW Golf MK 7 goes on sale

The 2013 Volkswagen Golf – the Golf Mk 7 – is now on sale in the UK just weeks after its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Volkswagen has put the new Golf – the MK 7 version of the best-selling Golf – on sale in the UK already, with first customer cars due to arrive in January 2013 – although the range is still limited. On offer to order now in the UK is the Golf S, Golf SE and Golf GT, but if you want the new Golf GTI – or a BlueMotion of 4Motion Golf  Mk 7 – you’re going to have to wait until well in to 2013 to be able to place your order.

New Mercedes E63 AMG will debut at New York

The latest spy shot of the New Mercedes E63 AMG which will launch at the New York Motor Sow But at least we know now when that launch will be – the New York Motor Show in April. The 2011 Mercedes S63 AMG get the new 5.5 Litre BiTurbo V8 Mercedes intend phasing out the much loved – and wonderfully linear – 6.2 litre, naturally aspirated V8 which graces AMG Mercedes models across the range, from C Class to S Class and E class to CL Class. Such a wonderfully exhilarating engine, it’s a real shame to see it bow out under the pressure of ridiculous CO2 and economy targets. So the 2011 Mercedes S63 AMG gets a new engine.
