Aluminum rod ends have close tolerance, 3 piece, medium duty rod end. Hard anodized 7075-T6 aerospace quality aluminum body. Heat treated, 5210 precision ground ball, Kevlar race. Self lubricating Teflon liner to seal out dirt an debris. RH threads.Applications: Designed for motorsports application where weight is critical. All of the strength & features of the precision rod ends at half of the weight.ASSEMBLY TIP: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.

McLaren F1 GTR sells for record amount in Scottsdale
Mon, 20 Jan 2014One of the most successful McLaren F1 GTR race cars sold at the Gooding & Co. Scottsdale auction over the weekend, bringing in $5.28 million. This 1997 F1 GTR is one of 10 longtail cars built for the 1997 FIA GT season, and it's one of only 28 made in GTR-competition specification.

Next Jaguar XJ takes styling cues from the XF

Based on a re-engineered version of today's all-aluminum XJ chassis introduced with the sedately styled 2004 model, the next XJ will be significantly different in appearance, drawing its coupelike-sedan inspiration from the Ian Callum-penned XF. "People know that something is coming, but they're going to be very surprised," says one source involved in the project code-named X351.
