| Newly designed shell with Hyper-Ridge around the bottom enhances shell strength while providing a larger bottom opening. Larger bottom opening promotes ease of putting on and taking off the helmet. Peripheral belting across the forehead area of the shell enhances structural integrity while maintaining flexibility, low weight and shell size. Rear mounting straps are slightly re-positioned exclusively to the Corsair V. Neckroll is removable and has additional exhaust channels to remove interior heat. Cheek pads have the exclusive Emergency Release Tab feature. Newly designed side exhaust cowls exhaust heat as well as add lateral stability at speed. Enhanced air inlets of the new DF-9 diffuser increase airflow efficiency. Brow vents now duct air into the temple area and out the side vents for maximum cooling. The Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan Concept (pictured) previews the 2014 Golf Plus
VW are calling the Golf Sportsvan a concept, but it’s pretty much what we’ll see in the new VW Golf Plus when it arrives in mid-2014. Just like the other new Golfs, the Sportsvan uses the new MQB platform but grows in size. It’s 134mm longer than the Golf Plus and 83mm longer than the new Golf and has a wheelbase longer by 43mm to offer more space inside.

Mini is using this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan to showcase its 'flair for design.' As with previous years, Mini will be using sites at Milan's Università degli Studi and the Triennale Design Museum for its installations that highlight the brand's 'Creative Use of Space' philosophy. The running theme between the two works is the progression of the brand, from its roots, through to the future of mobility. The Università degli Studi instillation is entitled 'Mini Sintesi' and was initiated by Italian design magazine INTERNI under the watchful eye of Gilda Bojardi.

The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Pebble (B6 Coupe pictured) looks to be heading for a debut at Pebble
Earlier this year we managed to trawl through the rather dry annual report from Spyker and discovered that plans were afoot for a Spyder version of the B6 Ventador Concept we first saw at the Geneva Motor Show in March. We managed to follow that up with the news that we’d heard a convincing whisper that Spyker were planning to give the Venator Spyder a full public debt at Frankfurt in September, but ahead of that would reveal the B6 Spyder to attendees at this year’s Salon Prive first. That whisper has now been given additional credence with a report from Autoblog that a voice in Spyker has revealed that the B6 Venator Spyder will actually get its first outing at Pebble Beach in less than three weeks.
