Fully removable/replaceable Dry-Cool® liner promotes improved moisture and heat removal fully removable/Replaceable cheek pads for a custom fit. Optional roost deflector. Chinbar area has a smooth radius to help reduce snagging or digging. Control ventilation system (delta duct toggle)–quick open/close control of forward intake and rear exhaust scoops. CLC (Complex Laminate Construction) shell–fiberglass composite is stronger and lighter–allows use of softer, less-dense liner materials inside for increased rider comfort. More efficient chinbar center vent shape. Large chinbar side exhaust vents. Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards. |

In 1964, the Pontiac Motor Division was headed John DeLorean, who would go on to become one of the automotive industry's most divisive figures. He believed that Pontiac needed a compact, exciting car to compete with the newly launched Mustang and approved funding for the experimental Pontiac two-seat sports-car program, codenamed XP-833. Inspired by another GM show car, the rear-engined Corvair Monza GT from 1963, the lines of the XP-833 were a perfect example of the Coke-bottle bodystyle: long hood, short deck and sweeping fender curves.

Chevrolet marks the brand's 100th anniversary and its racing heritage with a Centennial Edition trim package for the 2012 Corvette. The package will be available on all Corvette models, from the base coupe to the ZR1 supercar. Chevrolet is auctioning off a 2012 Corvette Z06 with the Centennial Edition package on April 9 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Spurred on by massive interest in its Genesis Coupe Concept at the British International Motor Show, Hyundai UK is seriously considering importing a small number of the muscular 306bhp V6-engined coupes in left-hand drive format to sate local demand. At the moment, test engineers from Hyundai’s UK headquarters are undertaking evaluation drives in the American and Korean versions of the Genesis Coupe to determine which models are best suited to the UK’s driving conditions, and studying the homologation issues such a import decision would raise. 'We took the Genesis Coupe to the Show in order to gauge reaction from an enthusiast audience - the response was overwhelmingly positive and has encouraged us to begin building a business plan around bringing this car to the UK,' Hyundai’s marketing director Andrew Cullis told CAR.
