New Arctic Cat Set Of 2 Heavy Duty Rear Arm Kimpex Pro-Gold Pressurized Gas Shocks For All 1985-1989 Arctic Cat Snowmobiles With The 2 Rear Arm Outboard Shocks. Part number 04-260. Replaces Arctic Cat part numbers 0604-115, 0604-158 and 0604-169. Retails for $94.95 each for a total of $189.90. These Shocks are worth there weight in Gold. I once had a 1994 Arctic Cat Pantera which came through with regular oil shocks like the 1985-1989 did. They were always bottoming out. I had the springs in the stiffest position. After about 1000 miles I had enought of that so I put on a Kimpex Pro-Gold Gas Shock on the rear arm and I had to put the springs in the lightest position and it took a huge bump to bottom out. After about 3000 miles on that shock, I had to go up 1 position on the springs. That convinced me of Kimpex Pro-Gold Gas Shocks. You can buy these 2 for about the same price as 1 regular Arctic Cat Oil Shock. Oil Shocks don't rebound on there own. These Pressurized Gas Shocks do. They come with Bushings on both ends. "I am very attached to this Italian brand, being an Italian myself," said de Silva at its unveiling. "I wanted to pay homage to and think up a vehicle to underline the fact that Lamborghinis have always been made with passion, and with the heart more than the head." This single-seat, V10-powered sportscar – with Alessandro Dambrisio responsible for its exterior design and Stefan Sielaff its interior – is an extreme interpretation of the faceted aesthetic introduced by the 2007 Reventón and last seen on the Veneno shown earlier this year at the Geneva motor show.
Chevrolet Volt uses parts made from oil-collecting booms
Tue, 21 Dec 2010General Motors is transforming about 100 miles of boom material used to soak up oil in the Gulf of Mexico into auto parts for the Chevrolet Volt. The oil-soaked plastic material collected off the Alabama and Louisiana coasts will keep more than 100,000 pounds of waste from the nation's landfills. The project is expected to make enough plastic to supply the first-year production of Volts with plastic parts for under the hood.
