#09-761 Painted Black Twin Pipes, Ceramic Coated Silencer Regular Price - $715.95
Transform
your 138 horsepower stock F7 into a wicked fast 150 horsepower demon
with the addition of these twin pipes from SLP. These pipes not only deliver an
additional 12 horsepower peak, but also provide an additional 6 ½
ft/lbs. of torque at 8100 RPM. Through their design they utilize a very
broad powerband with incredible midrange performance. They also maintain low
sound level emissions and as an added bonus reduce weight by 3 pounds.
The ceramic coating option is highly recommended for use
in deep powder snow conditions. In these conditions, it reduces underhood heat
substantially.

Video: Ken Block tears through Hollywood in Gymkhana Four
Tue, 16 Aug 2011We've missed you, Ken Block. We know it was only last September that he brought us Gymkhana Three, the DC Shoes commercial with the rally-ready Monster Energy Ford Fiesta as the star. But he is back, at Universal Studios, Calif., with his new car--and a new nine-minute “Hollywood Megamercial.” The new car is called the HFHV, for Hybrid Fiesta Hoonage Vehicle.
GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)
Mon, 18 Jan 2010The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. Watch the videos to the left to see the young international design team present the rationale behind the new concept, and read our opinion of the Granite in our 2010 Detroit Auto Show Highlights.
Chris Economaki was one of the good guys
Fri, 28 Sep 2012I'm really going to miss Chris Economaki, who died this morning around midnight, 91 years young. Elsewhere on this site, you'll find writer Leo Levine's excellent tribute to Chris. In it, he pays compliments to Chris such as “he left a hole in the motorsports firmament that can never be filled.
